new cards!

just figured i would put up my newest cards. the first is just a cute little thank you note. the other one i made for my parents when they moved. these can be customized, you know! :)

and of course they have my logo on the back!

steve's woodworking

my boyfriend steve is a woodworker... i figured i would show off some of his really cool stuff that he's made recently. he is very talented!

this is probably one of my favorites, he made this bench for my aunt & uncle. i love how you can store things inside.

this little stool took him no time at all! it looks cute in our bathroom.

he just made this bench last week. we put it in our room and we are storing books on it right now.

so that's all the pictures i have for now. i'm working on a website for him right now, so i will let you know when it's up and running!

apartment stuf

we always try to think of cool & easy (and cheap!) ways to make our apartment look cool... here are a couple of ideas we have had. the first is just ikea fabric that we stuck onto a canvas. it took no time at all and i think it looks great. 

this side table was an antique and it was found in the trash... we just painted it and to make it even more awesome we wanted to put some wallpaper on top. we decided to draw our own and came up with this leafy design. i love how it turned out and it really brightens up the room.

so i was lucky enough to see si scott give a lecture a few weeks ago at philadelphia university. he is such an amazing illustrator. he's done work for lots of big companies, like nike & mtv... he talked a lot about each design and what inspires him... it was really interesting!! check out his website (it is under construction right now), everything is done by hand and when you see it you won't believe he doesn't use a computer!! he's awesome
